The National Museum of Finland
is the largest museum of cultural history in Finland, and it takes care of the state’s eight museums and two castles.
The cultural history collections that include more than half a million objects tell us about Finland,
its territory and government and the people who lived there from the beginning of time to the present day.
The collections also reflect Finland’s relationship with the other cultures of the world.
The majority of the changing exhibitions and events are located at the National Museum in Helsinki, the Maritime Museum in Kotka and Häme Castle.
This search page gives you access to the collections of the National Museum of Finland. The other collections of the Finnish Heritage Agency have their own Finna pages:
Cultural heritage for everyone
